River Road Truffles and River Road Truffle Butter, Sea Salt and Freeze Dried Truffles are all our very own truffles ,harvested each year at River Road Appleby, Nelson, Aotearoa. Truffles are carefully harvested, washed and graded to ensure a very high standard of umami or aroma and ripeness.

Our A grade truffles are hand-sliced and freeze dried to capture the subtle aromas and flavours of fresh truffle. Nothing beats fresh truffle, but these freeze dried slices are unique and delicious. The fine slices are sold in re-sealable bags – but we recommend you eat them in one sitting.
